Sphere Model (Spherical Contours, Square Sum, Harmonic, 1st De Jong's or Schumer-Steiglitz's Function No.01)
I. Mathematical Expression:
$$f(X)=\sum_{i=1}^{n}x^2_i$$
where:
\(\bullet\) \(-100\leq x_i\leq 100\) , \(i=1,2,\cdots,n\)
\(\bullet\) \(f_{min}(X^*)=0\)
\(\bullet\) \(x^*_i =0\)
\(\bullet\) It is one of the most popular benchmark functions known in the literature. As can be seen from the title itself, this function has many names.
