I. Mathematical Expression:

$$f(X)=100\left(x_2-x^3_1\right)^2+\left(1-x_1\right)^2$$

where:

\(\bullet\) \(-1.2\leq x_i\leq 1.2\) , \(i=1,2\)

\(\bullet\) \(f_{min}(X^*)=0\)

\(\bullet\) \(x^*_i=(1, 1)\)

\(\bullet\) There is one common mistake, in the literature, that many studies considered this benchmark function as Rosenbrock's Function, which is wrong. The minor change in the expression, but with big effects on the characteristic of the function is done by replacing \(x^2_1\) with \(x^3_1\) in the first bracket. This minor change could be the trap that caused the typoerror in many resources of the literature.
